Adult Volunteer Opportunities

 

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Misfit Felines. As an all-volunteer run organization, we always need help in some capacity. Volunteering for Misfit Felines is different than fostering kittens, so if you are thinking of fostering, please visit the Foster page. Since we don’t have a physical building yet and are foster based, we don’t need help with the dirty work of cleaning kennels, feeding animals, or laundry. Some of the volunteer opportunities might include graphic design, creating forms, administrative duties, and helping with weekend adoption events at several area pet stores. At times we need assistance with transporting our kittens for veterinary appointments in Madison and also with emergency transportation of sick or found animals. We get large food orders in every month and need help to sort the food into boxes for fosters. We always need help with fundraising too. This involves event coordination, publications, donor tracking, and if comfortable collecting donations. If you are interested in trapping ferals when needed, we can use help with that as well. Whatever your talent or capacity to volunteer is, chances are we have an opportunity for you!
