Our Mission

 

Misfit Felines is a nonprofit rescue and advocacy group whose goal is to help at-risk felines and reduce the homeless cat population. Our fosters provide a safe place for the unwanted, the special needs, the feral, the motherless, and the strange.

 

Our Vision

 

Sometimes it feels like we are in the ocean, scooping water, one teaspoon at a time. One cat at a time, one life saved, out of millions.

We dream of a day when cat rescue is no longer needed. When every cat has a loving home. When all owners spay and neuter. When special needs are special and not disposable. When feral cats are loved and not euthanized.

In the meantime, we celebrate our fosters, volunteers, veterinarians, adopters, and supporters. Without them, none of this would be possible.

If we all picked up a teaspoon, together we could drain the ocean.
