POLICY & FEES

Misfit Felines operates solely on your donations. Our current adoption fees are $50-$100 for adult cats (1 year and older), $100-$200 for teen cats (6 months to 1 year), and $150-$200 for kittens (6 months and younger). Adoption fees for specialty breed and special needs cats vary. Our cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, FeLV/FIV tested, microchipped, treated for parasites, and have age appropriate vaccinations. We accept cash, checks, or credit cards. If you wish, you can pay in advance via PayPal, Venmo, or credit card.

We rely on outside donations from the community as we are not government funded. Throughout the year we host a few fundraisers that help our rescue cover costs. The cost for medical, food, and shelter for each animal far exceeds the adoption fee. If you are not adopting and still want to help us outside of a financial donation, you can send wet kitten food (such as Fancy Feast or Purina Pro Plan) and clumping litter. Both can be ordered through Amazon or Chewy. We also accept financial donations on our Donate page listed on this site or on Facebook.
